Music Directors

Cynthia (Cindy) Abeles serves as Assistant Conductor of the Red Lion–Felton Band. A graduate of Red Lion Area High School, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Millersville University and a Master’s degree in Education from Gratz College. Cindy has taught music in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with experience in general music, choir, elementary and middle school ensembles, and band. She currently works as an elementary band director in the Southern York School District. In addition, she maintains a private lesson studio and is active in her church’s music ministry. She is the parent of 14-year-old twins who are also musicians.
